Why Debate?

Debate holds a variety of educational benefits, preparing students for the real world, where they will be prompted to speak out on their ideas, and present evidence and analysis to justify. In a time where policy questions are becoming increasingly controversial, the ability to communicate is a must for career advancement in any field, whether it is related to humanities or STEM. Furthermore, debate is an activity where many students end up finding their passion in and a place where they create lifelong friendships, which we wish to foster in this educational summer camp!
