Intro Curriculum

Welcome to LD Debate Prep’s Intro Curriculum, where we will be covering the basic concepts involved in Lincoln-Douglas debate. This ranges from getting a feel for what this activity involves to knowing how to destroy your opponents at tournaments – everything useful to learn before your first tournament!

Find a comfortable space that can help you in thoughtfully learning debate concepts. Maybe grab a lamp, write notes on paper, or prepare a healthy study snack. Try a split computer screen setup or multiple devices, especially when multiple PDFs or webpages are involved!

From left to right: iPad, lamp, cereal and banana, laptops, keyboard, large monitor, speakers, mouse
Any setup works!

Then again, all of these devices are distracting and possibly counterproductive, so find what suits you!

Happy learning!
